PART FIVE: LAYOUT AND SPACES

Advice ·

With 3 teenagers still living at home we knew we would need to be able to accommodate different groups of people doing different things at the same time.  We also wanted a large enough dining and seating area for family gatherings.

By removing the old hot tub and extending the size of the deck, we were able to comfortably house the built in bbq, a dining table and a sectional outdoor sofa – with space to extend the table if necessary.

Below the vegetable garden we extended the grass to accommodate two lounge chairs in a spot that wouldn't get in the way of a game of bocce.  While not a full size bocce court, it is big enough for a fun game with friends and family.

The upper deck has a smaller seating area for smaller gatherings and we added a lower patio with bench seating and a fire pit for making s’mores - high on the priority list for our kids!

With much appreciation and thanks to the Great Canadian Landscaping Company team for their expertise and dedication in ensuring the project was completed on time and on budget.

We couldn’t be happier.

Thanks guys!
